Piano pieces of G.I. Gurdjieff & Thomas De Hartmann

In a relatively short span of time—mostly between 1924 and 1927—the spiritual teacher, G.I. Gurdjieff, dictated an extraordinary body of music to his gifted pupil, the Russian composer, Thomas de Hartmann. Together, over 200 piano pieces and fragments were created, most for a specific day or occasion.

I've been studying and playing this music since 1998 and find it to be an immensely gratifying effort with a timeless call and message. The playlist below includes some recent recordings I’ve made of this music.
